When we open the front door and turn on the lights, we need to quickly get our bearings. That is why we install high-powered central lighting in halls and entrance areas, which we attach to the ceiling – ceiling lights. They do not have to be colorful; what matters here is their power. They can be square or round in shape, and the choice of material depends on our taste; the important thing is that they diffuse light well. Therefore, they are most often made of glass or plastic. Energy-saving LED sources are preferred. They have high power, low consumption, and a color similar to that of an incandescent bulb. The purchase price of these LED sources is higher, but they are worth it. Ceiling lights are often built into plasterboard. Recessed lights are used for this, and Rendl has a really wide selection. They are available in two basic designs: either fixed or tiltable. With tiltable lights, the angle of illumination can be directed to illuminate a specific place, such as a closet in the hallway. Fixed lights shine downwards and are usually used as the main light in a room. The trend in ceiling lights has moved away from multiple reflectors on a single base. For example, LED bathroom ceiling lights are popular because you don't have to worry about changing the bulb. The bathroom can be boldly called a wet area, so safety is a priority here. All lights in the bathroom should be protected by a cover with a seal against splashing water. Equipping a bathroom with suitable lighting is not easy. We need a powerful light source with the most accurate color rendering possible for the mirror, but also a weaker light to create the right atmosphere when bathing in the tub, where bright light would be distracting. Therefore, it is also useful to purchase a basic ceiling light, a powerful light with diffused light to illuminate the mirror, and possibly spot lighting for cabinets.
